Description
A lovely Victorian lantern with leaded glass panels and decorative brass frame. We date this lantern to the late 19th century.The lantern has a height of 30cm and width of 19cm. The overall height including the brass support is 110cm.
The lantern is in overall sound condition. The stained glass is all intact. There is a small dent and some minor indentations on the rod. The brass fretwork is slightly out of line but we have not tried to bend it back into shape. There are some lacquer marks on the brass.
This remains a very stylish and elegant glass lantern which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
