Description

A lovely Reprodux corner drinks cabinet. We date this cabinet to the late 20th century.
The front of the cabinet is bowed in design and the display cabinet sits on two shapely bracket feet at the front and a single bracket foot at the rear. It has a stepped integral cornice with dentil moulding.
The cabinet consists of a glazed door display section above a base cupboard.
The top display section is of a two panel design with each panel being a glazed side hinged door. The door has been glazed with glass panes housed in wood glazing strips forming a pleasing geometric pattern. The right hand door is fitted with a working lock with a decorative brass escutcheon (key supplied).
The interior of the top cabinet is fitted with two removable wood shelves.
The base cupboard is also of two panel design, with each panel being a side hinged door. The door fronts have been veneered with well matched, finely figured yew wood with a crossbanded edge. The right hand door is fitted with a working lock. The left hand door is secured by a rear mounted top lever bolt.
The interior of the base cupboard is fitted with a mid mounted removable wood shelf.
There is a small pull out slide above the base cupboard
The corner display cabinet has a height of 189cm, a width across front of 91cm and a depth of 63cm from the rear back corner to the outer top edge of the cornice.
This lovely vintage reprodux corner drinks cabinet, like all reprodux furniture, has been constructed to a high standard and remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage.
This remains a very stylish and elegant vintage reprodux cabinet which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
